Students Get A Seat At the Table

Fantastic news!
Students get a seat at the decision-making table.

The AB86 Workgroup is a group that makes plans and decisions about the new Regional Consortia system.

Soon there will be two student reps on the AB86 Workgroup.

This will be the first time Adult Education students have been included in decision making at the State level.

This is very big and very good.

Red Letter Day 2014

Thank you to all the students who have written letters and emails to the Governor, Legislature, and newspaper.  Thank you to all the students who wrote essays and made posters.  Thank you to all the students who wear Red for Adult Ed on Tuesdays.

You have made it very clear:

Adult Education matters.
Adult Schools matter.  Students Matter.

If we are going to build the best Adult Education system possible, student experience, ideas, insight, and wisdom must be at the decision-making table.
