Adult Ed Week Essay Writer Yvan Bigaud: Writing A New Chapter

We celebrated Adult Ed Week 2015 in many ways.  Many ESL students wrote essays for an essay contest.  The topic of the contest was "I am an Adult School Student and This is My Story."  The essays were wonderful.

Writing A New Chapter

Three years ago, my life changed overnight.  I became a shadow of myself.  I suffered a long health accident and flirted with death for a long time.  After this experience, I chose to be reborn and build a new life.

The Adult School has contributed with generosity to make my new path.  To learn English in such a financial context and with teachers of good value is truly a gift.  Thanks a lot.  You have made me on my way to be a student for the first time in my life and allow me to write this new chapter in my life.
