Student Workshop at CCAE Conference in Berkeley

Our school has strong community, strong student involvement, and strong student leadership.

We can help other schools create this, also.

Three San Mateo ESL students will present a workshop on
School and Community Leadership at the CCAE Bay Section Conference on Saturday, March 1st.

CCAE - the California Council of Adult Education - is an organization of people who care about Adult Education.  Administrators, teachers, students, and community members.  They want Adult Education in California to be the best it can be.

CCAE has made a big effort to save Adult Education.  CCAE also helps Adult Education staff improve.

CCAE wants to encourage student participation and leadership.

CCAE understands Adult Education students have many skills and a lot of knowledge and wisdom.

We are stronger when we work together.

Go to the Conference!

Adult Education Students are FREE!

At the conference, you can learn more about Adult Education.

You can meet other people who care about Adult Education and want it to be the best it can be.

And you can help others understand how to build and maintain a strong student community.  Many schools do not have an active community or student council like our school.  You can help other schools get started.
