Wednesday Farmer's Market

At San Mateo Adult School, we have a wonderful school garden.

The students and staff grow beautiful vegetables and fruits in our garden.

Every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am, you can buy them at our Farmer's Market.




Students sell the fresh fruits and vegetables in bags.



Everything is one buck for one bag. 



A buck is one dollar.

 Teacher Betty and Teacher Bruce (below in the green shirt)
  keep everything going in our School Garden.

  Teacher Bruce used to work in the fields picking crops.  
  He wrote a book about his experience.  The name of the book is
     Lettuce Wars: Ten Years of Work and Struggle in the Fields of California.

Everything at the Farmer's Market is fresh and delicious.  Everything is organic.  No pesticides!
 
Come and buy wonderful fruit and vegetables. 
 
Eat good, healthy, delicious food.  Keep your body and mind strong.  Enjoy life!
 
You will learn English faster when your mind and body have freshness and energy.
