Welcome to San Mateo Adult School - Fall 2013

Welcome, everyone!

Today is the first day of the Fall semester at San Mateo Adult School.

Classes begin today.

There are many classes:

ESL

ESL with childcare (age 3 and up)

Citizenship

Computer Skills for ESL Students

Finding a Job for ESL Students

English & Civics for Seniors

Distance Learning (study at home)

Pronunciation

ESL Writing Intensive.

Home Care Aide Training for ESL Students

You can begin most of the classes anytime. 

You can begin all of the ESL classes anytime.

They are open-entry.

Registration is in the SMART Center.
 
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
 
and Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm.
 
Thursday mornings, Patty will help students find the resources they need to succeed.
Wednesday evenings, Guillermo will help the evening students find needed resources.

Patty is ready to help you in the morning
Guillermo is ready to help you in the evening.

We understand.

Many people feel nervous the first time they come to the Adult School or begin something new.

This is normal.

But you are not alone.
