At the Table for Adult Education

I have a question for you:

What helps you be part of the team for Adult Education?

As you know, Adult Education has had a hard time for a few years.  We - you and me and many, many people - have worked hard to save Adult Education.

We know Adult Education Matters!

We are a team working for a common goal.

Are we a strong team?

Do you feel part of the team?

Here's why I want to know:

This Saturday, Feb 23rd, CCAE - the California Council for Adult Education - is going to have a conference:

The CCAE Bay Section Winter Conference.

A conference is a big meeting.

This conference is for CCAE members in the Bay Area

CCAE is a group of people - students, teachers, administrators, anyone - who care about Adult Education.

Anyone can join CCAE.  It is a great organization and it is not expensive to join.

At the conference, we will talk about many things, including:

How can teachers and administrators help students
be part of the team for Adult Education?

There is a going to be a roundtable about this.

A roundtable is a discussion where many people can share their ideas.

Students and teachers and administrators will sit around a table and discuss this question:

What do students need to share their ideas and use their power, skill, and strength to save and rebuild Adult Education?

What do you think?

What helps you?

Does this blog help you?

Does information on Facebook help you?

Does Student Council help you?

Does the bulletin board help you?

Those are things we do now.

What else could help?

Teacher Lisa and I will be on the roundtable.

We need to know what you think.

Please share your ideas with us so we can share them at the roundtable.

You can find Teacher Lisa in Room 47 in the morning.

You can find me, Teacher Cynthia, in Room 28 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the daytime.

You can tell us your ideas face to face or you can write them down and leave a note in our box in the Teachers' Room in Room 31.

You are an important part of the team.

You are already on the team.

Adult Education is for YOU!

So it is important your ideas and needs are included.

Please share them with us.

We want to make sure that YOUR VOICE is heard when we sit at the table on Saturday.
